ASHLAND, OH - Ashland's own KRUSH, the hometown boys, are back in town for an encore performance.

KRUSH brings the authentic classic rock experience back to the Guy C. Myers  Memorial Bandshell at Brookside Park at 209 Parkside Drive in Ashland.

KRUSH, formerly known as SKYE, is a high-energy classic rock and roll band consisting of Keith Kobilack, guitar and lead vocals, Kevin Kobilack, drums and lead vocals, and Garry Denney, bass guitar, and vocals.

They'll be performing on Sunday, August 6 from 8 to 9:15 p.m. as a part of the "2017 Summer Concert Series."

Admission is free.

The concert will be the band's first area performance of the year since performing at the 2016 Ashland Balloonfest, the 2016 Bike MS Buckeye Breakaway at Ashland University, the 2016 Ohio State Fair, and the 2016 Ashland County Fair.

The band has performed to crowds of more than 2,000 people at Myers Memorial Bandshell in 2016, 2015 and  2013, and are revving up the rock and roll machine for another performance there.

KRUSH features an authentic '70's and '80's Tribute to the rock and roll experience of the period, including a large light show, sound system, stage gear, stage show, and more.

The band will be donating a guitar that will be raffled off at the show (Winner must be present to win).
