MANSFIELD, OH - The Mansfield Fire Department responded to a fire at Kruzins Diner located at 82 Park Ave West in downtown Mansfield.

The Mansfield Fire Department had to force entry due to the diner being closed. Authorities say the fire appears to be a kitchen fire that spread to the ventilation system.

No injuries were reported, and Ohio Edison was called to the scene to shut off the power.

Park Avenue W at Mulberry was closed in both directions as crews worked to extinguish the fire.
