YOUNGSTOWN, OH - Officials in Ohio were shocked when they discovered cocaine in the body of a nine-year-old boy.

An investigation into Marcus Lee Junior's death is now being treated as a possible homicide.

The young boy was rushed to a hospital the day after Christmas.

He died from acute cocaine toxicity.

The county coroner says test results were "off the charts."

The boy's father says he doesn't think the story of his son's death adds up.

"I was angry. I was angry," says Marcus Lee, the boy's father. "I was told to me it was a seizure, a defect, something that was unstoppable."

"It appears he ingested it orally," says Youngstown Police Lt. Doug Bobovnyik. "There was cocaine found in his stomach."

The boy's mother, her boyfriend, and a family friend were interviewed about the boy's death.

Detectives said the child had been dead for hours before officials were called.

There was no cocaine found inside the home at that time.

Two other children have since been removed from the home by children's services.
