CRESTLINE, OH - After a Crestline student with autism was dragged through hallways by two teachers, the child's mother spoke to WMFD about seeking justice for her child.

"I was speechless," said Bonnie McKean, the mother of 7-year-old Corbin. "Watching someone do that to your child, knowing he's having a meltdown..."

McKean says that after dealing with the school and the Crestline Police Department, she learned through a phone call that no charges were being filed against the two teachers.

"When we heard yesterday - when we picked up the video - that there were not going to be any further charges - at ALL - I was so mad, I was shaking and crying. That's not acceptable."

McKean got into contact with the Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney, Matt Crall. According to Bonnie, Crall explained why he hadn't filed charges against the pair.

"There wasn't an injury," McKean recalled. "I didn't even know what to say. I ended up breaking down crying on the phone with him. He advised me that no matter the outcome, even if they tried to charge them and succeed - it wouldn't change my life. I don't expect it to, nor do I want it to change my life. I want justice to be served for what happened. I want them punished. Basically, I want him to do his job."

McKean's family is concerned with the school's continued history of abuse against students, and hopes for something to be done about it. Just two days after the two Crestline teachers dragged Corbin through the halls of the school, a janitor was put on administrative leave for assaulting a student, and in 2014, a Crestline teacher was indicted on felony charges after sexually assaulting an underage student.

"Something needs to change," McKean said. "We're not going to give up. We're going to pursue this until something has been done."
