Family Sues Mortuary Over Decomposing Bodies

CARLISLE, OH- The family of recently deceased Antwan Hurston has filed a lawsuit against Premium Mortuary Services.

Antwan Hurston died at the end of June, but several weeks passed and the family still had not received the cremated remains. 

When the family finally received their son's ashes, they could not be convinced that they were even his considering the appalling condition the bodies were found in.

Investigators said they got a tip about the condition of the bodies at the mortuary. Several bodies were found in a garage at Premium Mortuary Services, covered in flies and decomposing in the summer heat.

The mortuary has temporarily lost its license.
