Missing 2-Year-Old Ohio Boy Found Dead, Cause Unknown

MASURY, OH - A 2-year-old boy reported missing in Ohio was found dead Sunday evening.

Several members of the community searched for the boy and his older brother for hours.

Authorities say a fireman and a civilian found the boy.

The coroner is investigating the cause of death.

Police are trying to determine how he got so far away from home.

The chief said he was impressed with the number of civilians who turned out to help.

"There are so many, so many agencies here I can't name them all," Sharon, Ohio Police Chief Gerald Smith says. "I can tell you that both state police departments, Ohio and PA state were involved, and probably every fire department in Trumbull and Mercer County."

The boy's 5-year-old brother, who was also reported missing Sunday, was found that afternoon in a different area.
