MANSFIELD, OH- For a second consecutive season Mansfield St. Peter's will play for a Division IV regional championship in boy's basketball. The 24-2 Spartans have blitzed their way through the tournament thus far behind a stingy defense that has turned into points on the offensive end.

During their 5-game tournament run, St. Peter's has held their opponents to just 44.4 points per game outscoring the opposition by an average margin of 26.5 points per contest. The team's toughest challenge to date awaits them in the regional title game at the University of Toledo this Friday, however, when they take on 20-4 Delphos St. John's, the top-seed from the Elida District.

The veteran Blue Jays present a tough matchup inside with senior center Tim Kreeger, who at 6' 8", is a skilled player at both ends of the floor. Like the Spartans, Kreeger and company have been winning games with their defensive prowess, holding tournament opponents to just 29 ppg.

WMFD's Brian Skowronski caught up with each member of St. Peter's starting five along with head coach Joe Jakubick to talk about their tournament run up to this point and upcoming regional championship game with St. John's.
