Minutemen Escape Ashland

ASHLAND, OH - The Lexington Minutemen gutted out a 3-2 match victory over the Ashland Arrows on Tuesday afternoon giving them the upper hand in the OCC Conference race.

Ashland (4-1) put the first point on the board when Zach Dohner and Justin Seamour defeated Brent Webster and Mike Saldanoff 6-2, 6-1.

The Minutemen (2-5) answered with two-straight singles victories as Blake Webster defeated Nolan Glazier 6-1, 6-3 and Benton Drake defeated Tommy Glazier 7-6, 6-2.

Ashland had an answer, however, as Caleb Sinchok held off Luke Webster 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 to tie the match at two.

The final doubles match of the day went to a decisive third set with the Lexington duo of Louis Bojdanal and Ajit Venktakata Kruhnan prevailing 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 over Jack Shultz and Luke Blackley.
