Ashland Arrows Bulldoze Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes

ASHLAND, OH-  The Ashland Arrows fell behind 10-0 in the first quarter to the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes before scoring 28 unanswered points to grab a 28-10 lead and going on to a 42-24 win over the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes.

Ashland quarterback Keagan Armitage was 10 of 16n passing for 175 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Armitage also ran the football 15 times for 124 yards with two touchdowns.  The Arrows Bryke Williams had eight carries for 80 yards and one touchdown as Ashland outgained Tiffin Columbian in total yards 447 to 293.  Ashland rushed for 272, while Columbian gained 199 on the ground with quarterback Todd Simonds getting 116 yards on 17 carries scoring one touchdown on a 57 yard run in the first half.  Simonds was also five of ten passing for 94 yards.

With the win, Ashland gets back on track at 2-1 and will travel to Uniontown Lake, while Tiffin Columbian will take on Toledo Start High School at home next Friday.
